Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Steve began developing his passion for food at a very early age.
In 2006, he led a team of aspiring chefs into a first place finish in the statewide ProStart culinary competition. This victory allowed him the honor of representing Wisconsin at the National invitational. Through outstanding performances in both contests he earned multiple scholarships to culinary schools all over the country. Considering the celebrated reputation of the school, he began attending Le Cordon Bleu in Austin, Texas in 2007. He graduated in 2008 with an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts.
Since graduating from the Le Cordon Bleu, Steve has earned the role of Executive Chef Manager at numerous HEB Cooking Connection's. While working at HEB he also fulfilled the role of personal chef for many families, and catered countless private and corporate events throughout Central Texas.
In 2015, he fulfilled his dreams of entrepreneurship, by launching ChefATX.
Steve and his team quickly made a positive impact in the community by giving back and helping families and Non Profits, visiting local schools to help guide and mentor the youth, and by creating a fun, educative and rewarding workplace for over 30 team members. His mission is to continue to be a positive and loving leader in the community while creating vibrant, healthy, flavorful, and practical meals as well as the best dining experience possible.
He believes food should be nourishing as well as delicious; This is why you'll find a wide variety of flavors and ingredients in his dishes.
